FEAR, A GIANT KILLER By Nyege, Confidence Bekwele. www.confibeksempire.com On that glorious morning as I was cre ating a hole in the sole of the sandal I was making, I felt the knife cut my finger. The sensation hit my brain And I immediately flung both the knife and the sole , and pressed my hand over the cut. My brain was screaming pain as I saw the stain of blood on the knife, it didn't help as I felt I had sliced off my finger. After a while , I decided to release the finger, looked at it and realised that the cut wasn't even as deep as I imagined and it wasn't even bleeding, then it dawned on me. It wasn't the sensation of pain I felt, no, it was FEAR which paralysed me at that moment, preventing me from thinking straight and accessing the situation rightly at that moment.
